These colorful bags are handmade by women from the tent community in Pushkar, India. They live in abject poverty and belong to the lower castes – many are cleaners or musicians.

Through The Blue House Project, they get the opportunity to learn a trade and give their children a better future.

This way she not only receives a fair income, but also hope, self-confidence and independence.
