You want to make this world a better place. So do we. That's why we're working with you on a special goal: with every purchase, we donate a portion of the proceeds to The Blue House Project in Pushkar, India.

With your support, we help underprivileged families living in the desert of Rajasthan in self-made tents. The Blue House Project , founded by Jaira Sona Chin, offers them a chance for a better future through education, shelter and the fulfillment of basic needs.

How did it start?

In 2016, Jaira met four begging boys during a trip to India. That meeting changed her life – and that of many others. She visited their families, living in a makeshift tent camp, and saw the dire poverty in which they lived. After her return to the Netherlands, she felt the urge to do something. What started with selling a few pieces of jewelry and bags to raise money, grew into an organization that now supports 70 children. These children receive education, a safe place to learn and eat, and their families are helped with work and food.

What do we do?

With your purchase you directly contribute to this special project. Together we ensure:

Education for 70 children from the lowest castes.
Meals and lessons in the project center 'Het Blauwe Huis' .
Basic needs such as shelter and monthly food for their families.
Employment for parents from the community so they can build a sustainable income.

Jaira, a Dutch student with a big heart, founded The Blue House Project out of a deep urge to help. With her enormous perseverance and love for the community of Pushkar, she has built a wonderful organization together with the local population. She now travels regularly to India to support the families and children.
